2. How much does a flu shot cost?
The cost of a flu shot can vary depending on your insurance coverage. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm coverage details. We can also bill your insurance directly for your convenience.
3. Are there any side effects from the flu shot?
The most common side effects of the flu shot are mild and short-lived, such as soreness or redness at the injection site, low-grade fever, headache, or muscle aches.
4. Can I get a flu shot if I have allergies?
In most cases, yes. People with egg allergies can still safely receive a flu shot. However, it’s important to discuss any allergies with our pharmacist before getting vaccinated.
5. When is the best time to get a flu shot?
Ideally, get your flu shot by the end of October to ensure maximum protection throughout the flu season. However, getting vaccinated later in the season is still beneficial compared to not getting vaccinated at all.
